Residential youth folk Course
Cwrs Gwerin i bobl ifanc
Angharad founded the residential youth folk course Gwerin Gwallgo in 2015 when working for trac: Music Traditions Wales. Gwerin Gwallgo is a lively four-day residential event for young people between 11 and 18 years old. It takes place at the beginning of the February half term at Glanllyn, the Urdd Residential Centre in Bala, and is run by trac: Music Traditions Wales.
Cwrs preswyl bywiog i bobl ifanc o 11 i 18 mlwydd oed yw Gwerin Gwallgo. Mae’r cwrs pedwar diwrnod yn digwydd ar ddechrau hanner tymor mis Chwefror yng Nglanllyn, canolfan breswyl yr Urdd yn y Bala, ac cael ei rhedeg gan trac: Traddodiadau Cerdd Cymru.
Yn Rhagfyr 2016 sefydlwyd y cwrs Gwerin Iau gan trac ac Urdd Gobaith Cymru. Cwrs preswyl i blant 7-11 mlwydd oed oedd y cwrs. Cydlynnodd Angharad y cwrs ar rhan trac, a hefyd gweithio fel tiwtor ffidil.
In December 2016, the course Gwerin Iau was set up as a partnership between trac and the Urdd. The two day course was for children aged 7-11. Angharad co-ordinated the course on behalf of trac, as well as working as a fiddle tutor.
